Rowan, a medical AI company, announced that Professor Miia Kivipelto (Miia Kivipelto), a world-renowned neuroscientist and the top authority in the field of dementia prevention, has officially joined its Advisory Board (Advisory Board). Professor Kivipelto is an expert who has proven a new medical paradigm that dementia is a preventable disease.

On the 6th, Rowan said it plans to combine Professor Kivipelto’s clinical expertise and global network with its AI platform to present data-based, precise, personalized prevention solutions to the global market. Professor Kivipelto scientifically demonstrated for the first time in the world through a study called the “FINGER Study (FINGER Study)” that multi-domain lifestyle interventions—such as diet, exercise, cognitive training, and vascular management—can meaningfully slow cognitive decline in older adults. Instead of relying on specific drugs, the FINGER Study strengthens neural plasticity and cognitive reserve through “multi-domain intervention,” which simultaneously manages multiple environmental factors that affect brain health. The study is evaluated as having provided decisive evidence for establishing dementia prevention guidelines by health authorities around the world.
