Rowan, a digital therapeutic device development company (CEO Seung-Hyun Han), announced on the 20th that it will participate in the world’s largest tech exhibition, “CES 2023,” held in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8, to showcase its AI-based dementia solutions.

CES is the largest global tech fair held annually in Las Vegas, where major companies like Samsung and Google present their future visions, and startups introduce their innovative technologies to the global market. During the event, Rowan will set up a booth at the K-STARTUP Pavilion in Eureka Park, located in the Venetian Expo.

Founded in 2017, Rowan is a company that develops digital therapeutic devices using big data and AI. Its technology, combining AI with medical expertise, provides personalized solutions. Rowan collects and analyzes patients’ cognitive function data to lead the future of non-drug therapies.

At CES 2023, Rowan will unveil its mild cognitive impairment (MCI) improvement solution, “SuperBrainDEX.” SuperBrainDEX is a tablet-based digital program designed to improve cognitive abilities and enhance long-term memory in MCI patients, who are at risk of developing dementia.

The data for this technology was based on Rowan’s existing digital cognitive intervention program, SuperBrain, which was developed as part of the government’s Dementia Overcoming Research and Development Project. SuperBrain’s effectiveness was verified in a three-year clinical study involving 152 participants, with research results published in leading medical journals, including AGING.

Seung-Hyun Han, CEO of Rowan, said, “Our goal is to improve human health through digital therapies. We plan to use CES 2023 as a stepping stone to strengthen our presence in the North American market and expand globally.”
